The Sky is NOT Falling!

Jesus said that true joy and peace can only come from Him, not from circumstances.

Why? Because He has overcome the world (John 16:33)! How is it then that we as Christians get so caught up in the latest scare or crisis?

Take the recent blood moon for example.

I’m not denying that several total lunar eclipses have happened in the last couple of years, but God is not in heaven wringing His hands over what’s going on. Believers shouldn’t be either.

Do you remember the Y2K scare? I know some people who were so stressed that they lost their marriages over it, and look what happened—nothing.

As the children of God, believers don’t operate in fear but, rather, in faith.

Let me make something clear: The sky is not falling. Chicken Little is out there again, predicting the worst, and I’m amazed at how many people are buying into this. I kind of expect it from the unbelievers, but many Christians are just as worried as those who don’t have the promises of the Lord.

You were born into the world for such a time as this (Esth. 4:14). You don’t need to be afraid of the things that are coming on the earth. As a matter of fact, you’re called to be a part of the solution!

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

John 16:33

There will always be something negative to keep your attention, but all the while, God is working things out for your good (Rom. 8:28).

I encourage you to focus on the good and to remember that you were born at this time in history for a purpose!
