Kings University Signing
An exciting opportunity has recently been presented to Charis students, opening up the possibility for further education after Charis Bible College!
On April 4, 2016, an articulation agreement was signed by Dr. Pete Sanchez, VP for Academic Affairs at The King’s University, and Greg Mohr, Director of Charis Bible College. This partnership will allow students interested in further education to transfer their Charis credits to The King’s University (TKU).
Students that graduate with a Charis Biblical Studies Degree will have the opportunity to earn an accredited degree by The King’s University.
TKU was founded in 1997 by well-known minister Jack Hayford, who now serves as Chancellor. This spirit-filled university is a dually accredited college, based in the heart of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. The King’s University offers the flexibility of online classes, as well as having campuses around the country.
As students gathered for Chapel services at the Sanctuary, Dr. Pete Sanchez and TKU staff joined together with Charis staff for the anticipated presentation.
Dr. Pete, as he is known to his students, shared his heart with those in attendance:
“We live in a time when we need leaders that will have influence in culture, and in every part of life. Our country is in a moral freefall, and we believe the answer is this generation and the next two generations, who are willing to say to the darkness, ‘You will not have the last say!’ We are partnering with you because we want to be part of that prophetic word to this country and to this world.”
Charis Bible College is excited for this partnership and the opportunity it presents for Charis students! It is a wonderful chance for those students who look to broaden their educational horizons, go even deeper into specialized fields, and earn an accredited degree at The King’s University.
