About the Director

Ricky Burge spent his childhood in Gary, Indiana. He had a spiritual awakening on December 10, 2008, when he was born again in his cousin's living room. He was introduced to Andrew Wommack through an elder from his church at a Chicago GTS event in August 2011. During the event, he received a prophetic word that God was with him and would guide him toward his destiny if he said yes. Searching for his purpose, Ricky felt that God wanted him to accept the opportunity to attend Charis, which he did the next day. In November 2011, Ricky moved to Colorado and graduated from Ministry School in 2014. Afterwards, he served in DEMO Africa from 2014-2019 and then as the AWM and Charis director in Uganda from 2019-2020. In January 2021, Ricky returned to Colorado to serve as the Hybrid Coordinator, 3rd year manager. In 2022 he moved to South Africa to serve as the Director of African Expansion and, as of 2024, he is the World Outreach Director of International Expansion and the Director of Global Training School. Ricky is married to Nina, and they have a daughter named Royalty and a son named King.
