3rd Year Business School

The Practical Government School equips Christians to effectively impact local, state, and federal government. Teaching a biblical worldview and the Christian heritage of America, the school offers courses on the Constitution, public speaking and debate, lobbying and advocacy, understanding local government, and much more. The school utilizes materials prepared by preeminent historian David Barton and other highly esteemed authors. Students participate in various off-campus activities, including a yearlong practicum and a trip to Washington, D.C.

Hands on Training

Practical Government School students will receive invaluable experience through hands-on training to engage in the government process.  We will provide opportunities to see the Colorado Legislature, the Colorado Springs City Council and other government bodies in action.  Students will participate in a “mock legislature” and fulfill real-world,practicum requirements. Students will be prepared to advocate for Christians and families through speaking labs and will prepare to launch student-led projects that have real-world potential to impact the landscape of government.

Mark Cowart, Business School director ABOUT THE DIRECTOR: Mark Cowart is the Senior Pastor of Church For All Nations (CFAN), a multi-site church with a total of 4 campuses. With the mission of empowering locally, sending globally, and reaping eternally, Pastor Mark seeks to fulfill Matthew 28:18-20… “Go then and make disciples of all nations”. While reaching the nations with the Gospel is his passion, Pastor Mark also has a deep and fervent love for this nation (USA) and recognizes the urgency and responsibility of the local pastor to preserve and protect the moral fiber of our country and work to restore its godly foundations.
