His classes include A Sure Foundation, Basics of Righteousness, Relationship with God, The Making of a Minister, and more. Students can expect to receive the truth of the Word from someone who has lived out everything he teaches.

Jamie Wommack

Co-Founder of Andrew Wommack Ministries & Charis Bible College

Jamie Wommack has been an integral part of Andrew Wommack Ministries since its inception in 1978. She was the general manager for many years until the ministry grew so large that they required outside assistance. She has led praise and worship and provided special music at Andrew Wommack Ministries’ Gospel Truth Seminars. Jamie continues to be involved with the ministry’s operations, travels to meetings, and ministers in music at AWM and Charis Bible College events. Her unique gifting touches the hearts of people with anointed and worshipful song directed to the Lord. In December of 2014, Jamie made her stage debut in the Charis production God with Us and has gone on to be a part of Charis’s Christmas performances. Jamie has been married to Andrew for over forty years. They have two sons and a beautiful granddaughter.

Vice President of AWM International and Charis Bible College

Gary is the Director of Charis Bible College, World Outreach, and AWMI International.  He has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Lamar University and is also a graduate of Charis Bible College.

Before coming to Charis.  Gary was employed by a large automobile finance company and was climbing the corporate ladder of success. However, the message of God’s unconditional love and grace caused him and his wife, Diane to realize that God had so much more in store for them.

Gary began working for Charis after he graduated in 2005, and his desire is to see people discover their God-ordained destiny as they pursue Jesus with all of their hearts. Gary and his wife, Diane, have five children and live in the mountains of Colorado. He enjoys spending quality time with his family, watching and playing football with his sons, and riding his motorcycle.

Cindy was born and raised in Texas but is overjoyed to be in Colorado now. She is awed at the path down which God has lovingly led her, including when He brought her together with her wonderful husband in 1978. She and her husband have two children and three grandchildren and are hoping for a fourth. Having completed three years at Charis Bible College, including the Third-Year Business School, Cindy feels honored to work for the ministry in any capacity and says that through Andrew and Charis, she has received more from God than she could ever repay.

Greg Mohr

Director of Charis Bible College Colorado

Greg Mohr is the Director of Charis Bible College in Woodland Park, Colorado. He is also a conference speaker and author and served as Senior Pastor of River of Life Church in Decatur, Texas for 24 years. He is a graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and has earned a Master’s degree in Leadership from Southwestern Christian University in Bethany, Oklahoma. Greg is married to his best friend, Janice. Together they have four children and eleven grandchildren.

Sue Nutman—executive assistant to Greg Mohr, director of Charis Bible College Colorado—along with her husband, Bryan, and their two children, left England to attend Charis in November 2011. After a supernatural journey through college, Sue graduated in 2013. She and Bryan attended Third-Year Ministry School and served as Healing School interns. Soon after completing Third-Year, they both began working for the ministry.

Paul joined the Andrew Wommack Ministries Board of Directors in 2003. With over thirty-five years of business and leadership experience in the corporate world, he has a wealth of practical wisdom in business creation and stewardship. Paul brought that wisdom to Charis Bible College Colorado in 2011 as the first director of Charis’s Third-Year Business School. More recently, he stepped into the position of CEO of AWM. Paul and his wife, Patsy, live in Woodland Park, Colorado, and have three children and nine grandchildren.

Sharing from over thirty years in ministry, Wendell opens up his life as he teaches some of the most fundamental truths of the Christian faith. As a former pastor and teacher of the Word, Wendell breaks down the Scriptures in order to give students a vantage point from which to advance in their walk with Christ. With classes such as Holy Spirit, Old Testament Survey, and New Testament Survey, students will walk away with a better understanding of the Word and how to interpret it.

Chris is a native Texan but has lived in Colorado since the mid-‘80s. He and his wife, Cindy, are 2012 graduates of Charis Bible College and 2013 graduates of the Charis Business School. They have two grown children and three grandchildren. Chris believes it is an honor and privilege to be involved with ministry.

Dean of Students

Barry brings his years of teaching the Word and his experience as a missionary in South America into his classes. By opening up his life, Barry is able to bring clarity to and guidance about some of the most disputed topics in the Word of God. Some of his classes include Answers to Important Questions, Healing, Laws of the Kingdom, and Discipleship Evangelism. Students will gain not only knowledge but also the wisdom to know how to apply the Word to their lives and ministries.

Travis is the Assistant Dean of Students. Originally from Gresham, Oregon, he answered God's call and moved to Colorado in 2011 with his wife Barbara and their three children. Travis graduated from Charis in 2013 and completed the Third Year Ministry School in 2014. He loves sharing the grace and love of Jesus, and the power it has to transform lives.

Dean of Education


Rick graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1991, earning a bachelor’s in marketing, and from Rhema Bible Training College in 1993. Three years later, in Tulsa, he graduated from Grace Church’s ministry school. He stayed at Grace Church, where he was a singles’ pastor and also served on staff in other capacities. He moved to Colorado in 2011 to attend Charis Bible College with his wife, Joann. Rick is currently the dean of education at Charis Colorado, as well as an instructor and the Third-Year Ministry School coordinator.

Daniel grew up on the mission field and he has had a heart for ministry ever since. Since then he has served in the Air Force, been a missionary in Nicaragua and Russia, and worked at multiple Charis campuses. He graduated from Charis in 2009 and from UCCS in 2012. He and his wife, Ashley, live in Colorado Springs, and love being part of a ministry that is changing lives around the world!

Beth, a 2008 Charis Bible College graduate, completed her internship in 2009 and now serves as the Dean of Women. Beth received a bachelor’s of science from the University of Colorado, where she subsequently worked in research for fourteen years. She is happily married to Jay, and they have a miraculous little girl. Beth believes that she has been placed on this earth to bind up the brokenhearted and set the captives free, and she is also passionate about seeing people set free to worship the Lord in spirit and in truth and to love others with His unfailing love.

Daniel is the dean of worship/arts and the director of Healing School. He is a seasoned, ordained minister and a published songwriter and recording artist with a lifelong passion for the arts being used for God’s glory. He holds a bachelor of music degree in vocal performance from the University of Colorado and a bachelor of theology degree from Christian Life School of Theology. Daniel and his wife have been married for thirty-nine years and have two grown children and three grandchildren.

Tracey is the executive assistant to the dean of worship/arts and director of Healing School. Prior to moving to Colorado in 2012 with her husband, Gregory, she worked as an office manager, as a human resources benefits coordinator, and in the technical world as an LAN administrator. She graduated from Charis Bible College in 2013 and completed the Third-Year Ministry School in 2014. Tracey’s passion is teaching the sure Word of God and sharing the message of God’s unconditional love and grace as revealed through Jesus Christ.

Stephen serves as the director of media productions for Andrew Wommack Ministries. He attended Bethany Bible College, graduated from Arizona State University with a BA in English, and is an award-winning Christian author and ghostwriter. At Charis Bible College, he oversees the Third-Year Media School.

Delron is director of the Third-Year Missions School, where he believes in turning theory into practice by taking students on extended cross-cultural missions experiences. In addition to directing the Missions School, Delron also teaches first- and second-year courses, including Finally, My Brethren; Seven Messages to Seven Churches; and So You Wanna Be a Preacher.

Mark Cowart is the Senior Pastor of Church For All Nations (CFAN), a multi-site church with a total of 4 campuses.  With the mission of empowering locally, sending globally, and reaping eternally, Pastor Mark seeks to fulfill Matthew 28:18-20… “Go then and make disciples of all nations”.   

While reaching the nations with the Gospel is his passion, Pastor Mark also has a deep and fervent love for this nation (USA) and recognizes the urgency and responsibility of the local pastor to preserve and protect the moral fiber of our country and work to restore its Godly foundations.

World Outreach

Mark Bassett is the stateside operations director of Charis Bible College World Outreach. After graduating from Charis in 2003, Mark moved to Illinois to help establish Charis Chicago, the first stateside Charis location outside of Colorado, and then served as its director. He returned to Colorado in 2012 to join the Charis World Outreach team in establishing, serving, and supporting Charis locations worldwide. He and his wife, Tenese, have one son.

Mike was a missionary in Russia for eleven years before meeting his wife, Carrie, and encountering Charis Bible College for the first time. After having his life transformed by the message, Mike became an instructor in the school and eventually the director of Andrew Wommack Ministries of Russia. In 2015, Mike, Carrie, and their two children returned to the States, and the couple now directs the AWM and Charis’s international operations. They are deeply honored to be part of a ministry that is so active in training and discipling the nations.

Charis World Outreach Administrator

Tannera is the World Outreach Administrator. World Outreach is the mobilizing arm of AWM and Charis. They currently run 13 AWM offices internationally, 25 International Charis Campuses, and 37 Charis campuses within the United States.  Prior to moving to Colorado in 2011, she was a missionary in Tampico, Tamulipas. Tannera has 5 years of experience living on the mission field in Mexico and Romania, as well as missions work in Uganda, Cuba, Hungary, and Germany. While living in Mexico she began her 1st year of Charis through the online program. It was during those classes she knew it was time to attend the Colorado Campus to receive the 3rd year training. Tannera is a Charis graduate from the 3rd year Media program. Tannera’s passion is to work with other missionaries to assist in media marketing and fundraising to aid the work that God has called them to.

After obtaining his engineering degree from University of Illinois, Greg developed new products and manufacturing systems in the consumer and medical product industries for over 20 years.  During this time he and his wife came to the Lord and in 2005 they responded to God’s call to attend CBC. Greg graduated from CBC in 2008 and completed the intern program a year later. He is excited to do all he can to spread the great news of God’s love and grace so others can be set free and empowered through their relationship with God. His wife, Citlalli, is a 2007 CBC graduate and serves as the Spanish Translator for Andrew Wommack Ministries materials. They are blessed with 3 fantastic children Shaina, Dante, and Uzziel who is also a CBC graduate (2010).

Warren feels privileged to be able to help promote the message of God’s grace and love via his current position as Computer Administrator for CBC’s Online Program.  A native of Buffalo, New York, Warren graduated from Michigan State University with a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering. He and his late wife, Anne, were blessed to have the opportunity to live in 13 different states. Warren has served as a worship leader and small group leader. He retired from the Federal Highway Administration after 38 years of employment with the federal government. Pursuing a lifelong desire to attend Bible college, Warren and his wife, Kathy, moved to the Springs in 2009 to attend CBC and graduated in 2011.

Sharon is the Charis Distance Learning assistant and will soon be graduating from Charis Colorado. She has a bachelor’s degree in public relations from Park University. Sharon started listening to Andrew Wommack’s teachings after a friend shared God’s Kind of Love to You with her on Facebook. She feels blessed to be able to enroll students in the same life-changing courses that she enjoyed during her first year at Charis.

Tenese Bassett works with Charis Distance Learning as the online facilitator coordinator. She is a 2003 graduate of Charis Bible College and brings over fourteen years of ministry experience to her position, including being a former administrator of Charis Chicago, serving as an associate pastor of a nondenominational church, and also working with missionary organizations. She has a passion to see believers in Jesus Christ grow up to maturity and fulfill their destinies in the kingdom.

In 2009, in order to move Erin into her future, God used Jeremiah 1:17 to tell her, “Get yourself ready,” which meant completing three years at Charis Bible College. She graduated from the 3rd year Ministry School in 2012. Before stepping into the Registrar role, she served in Admissions for 5 years. Erin has a passion to see the Word of God planted into the hearts of His children so that they can truly know Him and His great love for them, and is blessed to have the opportunity to teach several courses.

Randall Montague is the audio/video/lighting (AVL) supervisor for Charis Bible College. Randall has over 30 years’ experience with AVL for churches and ministries. In the spring of 2011, the Lord called Robert to be established in the Gospel of grace. Robert and his wife, Jackie, knew in their hearts that Charis Bible College was the place for that to happen, so they decided to relocate from Portland, Oregon, to Colorado Springs with their two children. Robert graduated from Charis in 2013 and completed Third-Year Media School in 2014.

Mark is the Director of Night School. He graduated from CBC in 2008 and has completed 2 additional years in the Ministry Training program. Mark has served as Assistant Coordinator for Night School and as a Prayer Minister in the AWM Phone Center. His heart is to serve and his greatest desire is to share God’s love and bring all of God’s people together. Mark is blessed with 2 children and 5 grandchildren that live in Colorado Springs.

Michelle serves as the missions coordinator at Charis Bible College. Originally from Alabama, she started in ministry at the age of twenty when she married her husband, Don, a pastor. The couple has two sons, both by miracle births. Michelle worked in the tours and travel industry for more than twenty years before she and her family were supernaturally led to Colorado in 2007. God opened the door for her to attend Charis, and she graduated in 2010. Michelle and Don also pastor Grace and Faith Bible Church of West Colorado Springs. Michelle has a heart to reach people around the world with the unconditional love of God.

Clay grew up in a Christian home but always felt like God was mad at him. He thought that if he could not be good enough, he would be really good at being bad. But like the prodigal son returning home, Clay eventually moved to Colorado to attend Charis Bible College, where God showed him how proud He is of him and that He loves him and has an incredible destiny for him. It was also during his time at Charis that he met his wife, Lori. Clay graduated from the Third-Year Ministry School in 2015 and now works in the Missions Department, leading second-year students around the world on mission trips.

Tennie came to Charis Bible College in 2009 from Plainview, Texas. She graduated in 2011 and finished the Third-Year Ministry School in 2012. During her third year, Tennie began working at Charis Night School, where she assisted the Night School coordinator. By the following year, she had stepped into the role of student services coordinator for the day school. She enjoys serving the student body, interns, and staff of Charis Colorado. She has four children, eleven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Sharris is the assistant to the dean of education. She graduated from Charis Bible College in 2011 and completed Charis’s Third-Year Business School the following year. She and her husband, Andy, pastor a church in Woodland Park, Colorado. Sharris wants to help others fulfill their visions and have successful and fruitful ministries, and she accomplishes this by providing resources and avenues for ministry. Sharris and her husband have been married for twenty-six years and have two adult children.

Chris is the coordinator of the Business School and was born and raised in southern Texas. After graduating from The University of Texas with a business degree in real estate, Chris joined his family’s real estate company and rose to the top of his field as a commercial real estate appraiser. Following a word from God, Chris sold his appraisal business and moved his family of seven to Colorado Springs in the summer of 2011. He and his wife, Donna, graduated from Charis Bible College in 2013 and from the Business School in 2014. Chris currently runs a commercial real estate management company.

Media School Coordinator


A graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a master of education degree in instructional systems design and a bachelor of fine arts degree, Tim has exceptional credentials and coordinates the Media School at Charis Bible College. For twenty-five years, he served as an award-winning executive producer, director, and cinematographer at Penn State Public Broadcasting. He is also the founder, president, and director of Children’s Ministry Workshop in Colorado, which produces multimedia projects that teach the Bible to children. Tim taught for fourteen years in the film-video department of the Pennsylvania State University’s College of Communications and also at Ryerson University in Toronto.

Marcia is a seasoned worship leader, instructor, and singer-songwriter who has been actively ministering since the age of fifteen, having had the privilege of doing so worldwide with various ministries. With a bachelor’s degree in music education and master’s degree in theology, Marcia brings a wealth of knowledge to Charis Bible College Worship Ministries and Worship School. Passion for the Lord and His people is evident in her life. She has contributed to over a dozen worship projects, including Charis’s The Best Is Yet to Come and We Come Alive.

Adam is the coordinator for the Creative Arts School and oversees its day-to-day operations. He has pulled together a team of professional actors and dancers to complete his teaching staff. In addition to running the Creative Arts School, Adam also leads worship with the Charis Worship Team and directs and writes artistic productions such as The Heart of Christmas.

Richard Harris is a graduate of Charis Bible College and the Charis School of Ministry.  Before coming to Charis, he practiced law in his home state of Oklahoma for 20 years.  He is an associate pastor of Grace and Faith Bible Church of Woodland Park, where he enjoys teaching God’s word with a focus on the love of God, our identity in Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit.  He is married to Donna, also a 2014 CBC Graduate.  Together they have 3 children.

Richard earned a degree in Political Science from Oklahoma State University in 1987, a law degree from Cornell Law School in 1994 and has served for several years as the legal counsel for the Oklahoma Conservative Political Action Committee.  He is excited about the opportunity to equip CBC Students to enter the arena of government and fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ.

Tim serves as the Alumni Relations Supervisor and also oversees the growing Charis Bible Studies program. Tim and his wife, Connie, moved to Colorado in 2012 to attend Charis Bible College. They both graduated 2nd year in 2014 and completed Charis's Ministry School the following year.  In 3rd year the Lord put on their hearts to develop a ministry project aimed at helping Charis Alumni realize their Godly potential after they graduate.  Tim feels so blessed to be able to contribute to the growth of the Charis Alumni Relations Department and the world's best Alumni.

Joyce and her husband, Bruce, graduated from Charis Bible College in 2011 after moving to Colorado from Charleston, South Carolina. Joyce is the coordinator of special guest services for Charis Colorado, helping to bring a spirit of hospitality to all visiting the Woodland Park campus. Joyce’s definition of hospitality is “Creating a welcoming atmosphere where guests can come and grow.”

In 1973 Dan and his wife, Penny, gave their lives to Jesus Christ. In 1978 Dan graduated from Rhema Bible Training Center. He earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Bible Theology from the International Bible Institute and Seminary. He also holds a conferred Doctor of Divinity Degree from the same seminary. Dan has pioneered and helped pioneer many churches, including three right here in the Colorado Springs area. Since 1983, he has taught national pastor and leadership conferences as well as Bible colleges in Haiti, Israel, Central America, South America, and Cuba. Dan and Penny are currently pastoring Heartbeat Ministries International in Colorado Springs.

Dean’s creative and energetic style of ministry has been in high gear for the past thirty years. He is passionate about equipping believers and future ministers with the practical tools to serve in the local church. In 2004 he pioneered Rock Family Church here in Colorado Springs. Prior to his senior pastor role, Dean served as a youth pastor for nineteen years and then traveled the nation ministering to teenagers and families for several years after that. He also served as a Bible college instructor for five years at Rhema Bible Training Center in Oklahoma. Dean is also the author of 16 volumes of H2O Sermon Source, a creative sermon resource for pastors and youth pastors that is used around the world. Dean has been married to his wife, Kim, since 1983. They have three children, Alesha, Allyson, and Preston.

Peggy, an ordained minister, has traveled the world for more than thirty-five years as a short-term missionary and currently serves as a chaplain at the El Paso county jail. At Charis Bible College, she helps lead the second-year missions trips and teaches several courses in the Third-Year Missions School with her husband, Delron Shirley. She also teaches Pulling Down Strongholds and conducts Bible studies in her home for the women at Charis. Peggy’s passion is to raise up students to do the work of the Lord and, especially, to encourage women that they are a vital part of God’s end-times army.

Billy Epperhart is a successful business entrepreneur and a nationally known speaker and author. He oversees the strategic direction of his three Colorado-based companies: BillyEpperhart.com, a venue for his financial/entrepreneurial advice; Tricord Global, a nonprofit providing microfinance loans and education; and Wealthbuilders, a ministry which primarily focuses on business training in developing nations. Billy is a graduate of Southwestern A/G University and received his M.B.A. from Colorado State University. Currently, he oversees Tricord Global Inc., teaches at Charis Business School, and travels globally holding Wealthbuilders conferences.

Duane Sheriff is the senior pastor of Victory Life Church in Durant, Oklahoma. He is gifted with an anointing and ability to communicate the simplicity of the Gospel. He believes a personal and intimate relationship with the Lord is essential for every believer. His desire is to see the body of Christ walk together in unity.

It becomes evident as Pastor Duane opens his heart that God has bes­towed on him an abundance of divine revelation, which pours forth as he shares and ministers the Word. His personal presenta­tion of the Gospel resurrects hope and ignites faith in the hearts of God's people. 

Pastor Duane began the free teaching tape/CD ministry in 1984. His insatiable desire was to make the Word of God available to everyone, regardless of financial circumstances, and that dream burned in his heart. Many times, it seemed, the people who needed the teachings the most were the least able to afford them. The fruit of this dream has resulted in the distribution of well over 32 million free tapes and CDs. 

The main priority of Pastor Duane and his beloved wife Sue is the home. Their emphasis and commitment to their family have resulted in the strength and growth of Duane Sheriff Ministries and Victory Life Church. Currently, Victory Life is one church in multiple locations, as well as an online church.
