How blessed do you want to be?

“The Lord will command the blessing on you … in all to which you set your hand.” —Deuteronomy 28:8

As I think about the blessings of God, I have come to the conclusion that the more I enter into His blessings, the busier I am. Blessing implies multiplication, increase, and abundance. Blessings require management and administration.

The more blessed we are, the busier we are.

No doubt the blessings of joy, peace, and a happy family life make life easier. But material blessings and opportunities make life busier. Who works harder, the farmer with the 30-fold increase or the farmer with the 100-fold increase?

The greater the increase, the greater the effort involved in the harvest.

It is possible to lose some of the blessings that are in the field out of simple laziness. Missed opportunities or the decision to not enter open doors that will require time and effort will limit God’s flow of blessings to your life. He commands the blessing over all to which you set your hand.

Whatever he does shall prosper. (Ps. 1:3)

You should expect favor, divine appointments, influence, promotion, creative ideas, and opportunity in your life. The blessing of God is on your unique purpose. But remember, the blessing requires more of your time and effort to manage.

How much blessing are you willing to walk in?

Just as the grace for the blessing is yours for the taking, so is the grace to manage the blessing!
