Thank You Mr. Devil

Now, I know that you probably never thought you’d ever be thanking the devil for anything. Right?Greg

But you can. You can thank him for proof!

If you’ve ever been:

  • In peace, and now you're in confusion
  • In courage, and now you're discouraged
  • In faith, and now you're in doubt
  • In love, and now you're in fear
  • In confidence, and now you're in condemnation

You know that it's the enemy.

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. John 10:10

This verse says that the thief (the devil) only comes to steal, kill and destroy. But a thief will never come into your house to steal something you don’t already have!

You already have peace, courage, faith, love and confidence living in you. The fact that he’s come to steal it is proof that you have it.

So the next time the devil comes at you with anything, you just look at him, and say, “Thank you, Mr. Devil! All you're telling me by your fear, and your doubt, and your confusion, and your condemnation, and your discouragement is that I've got something that you're trying to steal. And I’ve got news for you. I'm holding on to it, and you're going to get a double black eye! I'm taking authority over you, and I'm exalting the truth over the facts!”

You can rest assured that after you’ve talked to him like that, you’ll soon discover that you're talking to yourself—because he's gone!

Greg Mohr will be speaking at Campus Days 2017!
