Academic Guidelines

Although grades will be given for each class, our emphasis is on spiritual feeding, character growth, and maturity, rather than academic perfection. Grades are given to help the student measure his or her own progress in spiritual growth. Discipline is encouraged. More people will fail in life because they do not place enough importance on faithfulness and promptness. Your attendance will play a major role during your time at Charis Bible College.

Grading System
A = Excellent93 - 100%
B = Above Average     85 - 92%
C = Average77 - 84%
D = Below Average70 - 76%
F = Failing0 - 69%

Testing and Assignment Policy
The first day back after you have missed class for any reason, it is your responsibility to check with the instructor(s) or their apprentice of the class(es) missed for any tests or assignments.

There will be 10 points deducted from your grade for every day your assignment or test is late after the day you return, unless other arrangements have been made.

When taking a test, computers and/or electronic Bibles are not to be used. Only book-style Bibles will be allowed.

After completing a test given in class, please remain seated quietly in your chair unless dismissed by the instructor or apprentice.
