CBC Charlotte Progams

 1ST YEAR - BIBLE TRAINING

Charis Bible College of Charlotte believes in the importance of academics, but those who are going into the ministry must know how to minister! We strive for a balance between knowledge of Scripture and practical ministry experiences. The first-year is offered in both Day and Night School sessions. Day School runs from 9:00 a.m.- 1p.m.., Mon.- Thurs. Night School runs from 6:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m., Mon.-Fri.

First-year courses include Relationship with God, Basics of Righteousness, Receiving from God, Discipleship Evangelism, and Old Testament Survey to name a few. The curriculum was designed to give students a solid biblical foundation with an emphasis on faith, grace and walking with the Holy Ghost through the work of the cross and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

In addition to classes, first-year students are required to volunteer 25 hours each term (3 months) in practical ministry either in a local church, Charis Bible College, or other CBC-approved ministries. There are many opportunities to serve depending on your interests, talents, and availability.

Upon completion of the first-year program, students receive a Certificate of Completion and are eligible to enter the second-year Practical Ministry Training at Charis Bible College of Charlotte.

2ND YEAR - PRACTICAL MINISTRY TRAINING

Where the first year sets your foundation in the Word, the second year builds upon it with courses aimed at teaching you to share what you have learned with the world! The emphasis is on learning by doing. The second-year is offered in both Day and Night School sessions. Day School runs from 9:00 a.m.- 1 p.m., Mon.- Thurs. Night School runs from 6:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m., Mon.-Fri.

Second-year courses such as New Testament Survey, Ministry of Excellence, and Making of a Minister further progress your training. In addition to regular classes, students also engage in Inter-Action Groups (IAGs) – small workshops designed to help you fine tune and practice skills such as public speaking, preparing teachings, prayer, etc.
