Apprenticeship Program

The purpose of this third year elective program is to facilitate the transition of CBC graduates from being students to becoming the ministers God has called them to be. This is accomplished by preparing individuals for leadership roles within ministry and the marketplace.

To be eligible for this program you must be a graduate of CBC. After submitting an application, it is reviewed and a follow up interview is scheduled. The applicant will be notified if he/she has been accepted or not into the Apprenticeship Program.

The objective of this program is to help each graduate define their call through a specific step-by-step plan, using a short term goal that offers long term possibilities. This plan may include; planting churches, establishing bible schools, serving on the mission field, evangelism, or serving within a para-church ministry. There will also be an emphasis placed on everyday administrative aspects of ministry and developing a servant’s heart.

The benefits of this 3rd year program include hands-on application in the following areas: Teaching, ministerial training, small group mentoring within the various areas of ministry, leadership, specialized workshops, and developing a ministry project of your choice.

Experienced CBC instructors will supervise all aspects of the training in order to prepare you to serve wherever God has called you to be.
