Andrew Wommack Andrew Wommack - President/Founder
Since founding Andrew Wommack Ministries, Inc. in 1978, Andrew has continued to present great truths from God's Word with simplicity and clarity, through the revelation knowledge and anointing given to him by the Lord. Wherever he travels, his powerful emphasis on the Word continues to set people free from sin and self-righteousness, often with signs and wonders following. Andrew has pastored three churches, and he continues to fulfill God's calling on his life by teaching the body of Christ the Good News of our New Testament relationship in Jesus Christ.
 
Wendell Parr Wendell Parr - Director of AWM World Outreach/Instructor
Wendell has been in ministry for over three decades. He founded a charismatic church in Texas where he served as Senior Pastor for 18 years. In 1994, he moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado, to help start Charis Bible College (CBC). He taught there for three years and then moved to England where he successfully planted the first CBC extension school. He then directed Bob Nichols’ Bible school in Fort Worth, Texas, before returning to Colorado where he now serves as the Director of AWM World Outreach. Wendell and his wife, Linda, have two children, Wendy and Dean, and one granddaughter, Ashtin.
 
Gary Luecke Gary Luecke - Director of CBC
Gary is the Director of Charis Bible College and has a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Lamar University and is a graduate of Charis Bible College. Gary was employed by a large automobile finance company until he was called to attend CBC. His desire is to see people pursue God with all their hearts and discover God’s destiny for their lives (Romans 12:1, 2). Gary and his wife, Diane, have five awesome children and they pastor a church that meets in their home.
 
Andy Johnson Andy Johnson - Print Production Assistant
Andy joined the Air Force in 1979, and it was there that he had an encounter with God and received Jesus as his personal Savior. He also received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and, upon leaving the Air Force, started ministering with puppetry in children’s ministry. Andy graduated from the Institute of Theology by extension in 1998 and received his pastoral license. He is currently a full-time second year student at Charis Bible College. He and his wife Sharris volunteer with the Colorado Springs Rescue Mission. He is looking forward to also completing a third-year Internship Program. The Lord is leading Andy and his wife, with a strong desire to pastor a church in the Woodland Park/Teller County area, and they are excited about pursuing that vision.
 
Anna Fulmer Anna Fulmer - Receptionist
Anna serves as the receptionist for Charis Bible College. She is a 2008 CBC graduate, and completed the CBC Apprenticeship Program in May 2009. Southern born (GA) and Colorado raised (Cedaredge), Anna’s desire is to serve God through ministry to the nations. She has participated in missions and Gospel Truth Seminar programs while at Charis. Her hope is to see people grow in their relationship with God and be able to utilize that growth in ministry.
 
Ashley & Carlie Terradez Ashley & Carlie Terradez - Assistant Intern Coordinators
Ashley and Carlie moved to the USA after graduating from Charis Bible College UK in 2008. They completed their apprenticeship in Colorado before joining the staff team as Assistant Apprentice coordinators. Together they supervise the day to day organization and ministry of the 3rd year program. Before attending CBC, Ashley was involved in various small business enterprises. Carlie worked as a nurse both in local hospitals and the community. Serving the Lord has always been a focal point of their marriage and has led them to gain experience in full and part time ministry positions over the past decade, from youth pastors and schools workers to worldwide missions and church planting. They also have three wonderful children, Zachary, Joshua, and Hannah, who are a blessing to them every day!
 
Barry Bennett Barry Bennett - Intern Coordinator
Barry has been serving the Lord since 1972 and is a graduate of Christ for the Nations Institute. He and his wife, Betty Kay, have been missionaries in Mexico for 4 months, in Guatemala for 10 months and in Chile for almost 12 years before returning to Texas in 2001. While attending a large Spanish speaking congregation in Carrollton, Texas, Barry became the director and principle teacher of Instituto Avance for five years. Instituto Avance was a Bible institute for those who speak Spanish. Barry has ministered to Cambodian refugees in Dallas for two and a half years, in many home groups and churches, on short term mission’s teams, and as a Pastor in Santiago, Chile for 8 years. His passion is teaching the practical truths of God’s Word

 
Beth Landt Beth Landt - Registrar
Beth is a 2008 Charis Bible College graduate and serves as the CBC Registrar. She also has a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Colorado, where after graduating, was hired to administer and coordinate several longitudinal research projects for a period of fourteen years. Beth is happily married to Jay, and they have a miraculous little girl. Beth is passionate about seeing people set free to worship the Lord in Spirit and in Truth and to love others as He has given her revelation of His unfailing love.
 
Carol Odenwald Carol Odenwald - Worship Leader/Night School Coord.
Carol was saved at the age of seven. However, not knowing that salvation was anything more than “fire insurance” from hell, she embarked on a “wilderness” journey that found her running from the call of God. After a 20-year music career in the world, she answered His call. In 1998, she went on staff as Worship Pastor at her church in Panama City Beach, Florida, until leaving to attend CBC in 2004. She graduated in 2006. She helped start the CBC Night School during her 2006-07 apprenticeship, and now serves as the Praise and Worship Leader and Night School Coordinator.
 
Mark Deskins Mark Deskins - Production Assistant
Mark has been involved in ministry, serving as a Worship Leader and an Associate Pastor. He has witnessed the power of God moving mightily in his own life when he was healed of stage three Melanoma in 2002. He is a 2009 graduate of Charis Bible College. His vision is expanding to know a loving God even more while his ministry is being expanded to include the whole world.
 
Michelle Patterson Michelle Patterson - Missions Coordinator
Michelle serves as Mission Coordinator at Charis Bible College. Originally from Alabama where she started in ministry at an early age becoming a pastors wife at the age of 20 when she married her husband Don in 1984. They have two wonderful sons, Blake and Chase, both by miracle births and both are now serving the Lord. Michelle worked over 20 years in the tours and travel industry including owning her own travel agency. Michelle and her family were supernaturally led to Colorado in 2007. God opened the door for her to attend Charis Bible College and she is a 2010 graduate. Michelle has a heart to reach people all of the world with the unconditional love and grace of God.
 
Samantha Crowell Samantha Crowell - Business Operations Strategist
Samantha Crowell serves as the Business Operations Strategist at Charis Bible College. Originally from Massachusetts, she moved to Colorado in 2007 and is a 2008 CBC graduate. Samantha brings to her position a B.S. degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University, where she majored in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management. Her heart is for the nations to know and experience the grace and love of God.
 
Vickey Rice Vickey Rice - Administrative Assistant
Vickey serves as the Administrative Assistant for Charis Bible College. In 2003, the Lord directed her and her husband, Xavier, to Andrew Wommack’s ministry, which resulted in them leaving Dallas, Texas, and attending CBC in Colorado Springs. They graduated from the college in May 2006. While attending CBC, Vickey had the opportunity to travel to Russia on a mission trip, where she ministered the unconditional love and grace of God and was impressed upon by the Lord that this would be a part of her ministry within the United States. Vickey strongly encourages anyone whom the Lord is prompting to attend CBC, to trust Him. He will not fail you. Hebrews 13:5 (Amp).
 
Wayne Knurr Wayne Knurr - Dean of Students
Wayne Knurr is the Dean of Students at Charis Bible College. After graduating from CBC in 1999, he and his wife, Jan, served in a Wisconsin church which was pastor-less and vision-less. During the course of two years there, through the ministry of the Word of God and the gifts of the Holy Spirit; the church was brought back to life! In 2002 Wayne became the Dean of Students at CBC. Encouraging, discipling, and releasing the students into ministry are great fits for Wayne. He is passionate about order in the Body of Christ and communion with the Holy Spirit. As the ministry of Charis Bible College grows, Wayne and Jan will be heading up the newly formed Church Planting division...Come join us!

Arthur Meintjes Arthur Meintjes - Kingdom Life Ministries
Arthur has traveled the world teaching the GOOD NEWS (Gospel of Peace) and FAITH-RIGHTEOUSNESS, a message of God's unconditional love and mercy to build, repair, and restore mankind. The emphasis of the message is to show people that God is kind, good, and loving. The Gospel is the power of God unto salvation or wholeness, in every area of life. This good news does not point out what is wrong with you; it is about what is RIGHT with you because of the finished work of the cross of Jesus Christ, in spite of what is wrong with you. Grace doesn't give permission to sin; it empowers one to live a godly life. Arthur and his wife, Cathy, established Kingdom Life Ministries in 1992. They reside in Colorado, U.S.A.
 
Dan Funkhouser Dan Funkhouser - Heartbeat Ministries International
In 1973 Dan and his wife, Penny, gave their lives to Jesus Christ. In 1978 Dan graduated from Rhema Bible Training Center. He earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Bible Theology from the International Bible Institute and Seminary. He also holds a conferred Doctor of Divinity Degree from the same seminary. Dan has pioneered and helped pioneer many churches, including three right here in the Colorado Springs area. Since 1983, he has taught national pastor and leadership conferences as well as Bible colleges in Haiti, Israel, Central America, South America, and Cuba. Dan and Penny are currently pastoring Heartbeat Ministries International in Colorado Springs.
 
Dean Hawk Dean Hawk - Rock Family Church
Dean’s creative and energetic style of ministry has been in high gear for the past thirty years. He is passionate about equipping believers and future ministers with the practical tools to serve in the local church. In 2004 he pioneered Rock Family Church here in Colorado Springs. Prior to his senior pastor role, Dean served as a youth pastor for nineteen years and then traveled the nation ministering to teenagers and families for several years after that. He also served as a Bible college Instructor for five years at Rhema Bible Training Center in Oklahoma. Dean is also the author of fourteen volumes of H2O Sermon Source, a creative sermon resource for pastors and youth pastors that is used around the world. Dean has been married to his wife, Kim, for twenty-seven fantastic years. They have three children, Alesha, Allyson, and Preston.
 
Delron Shirley Dr. Delron Shirley – Teach All Nations Mission
Delron is a graduate of North Carolina State University, Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and Indiana Christian University. He served for 25 years as Dean of World Harvest Bible College and Indiana Christian University. He is founder and president of Teach All Nations Mission, focused on training local leaders in Africa, Asia, Central America, the Caribbean, and Europe. Delron and his wife, Peggy, have three sons.
 
Lawson Perdue Pastor Lawson Perdue - Charis Christian Center
In 1978, at one of Andrew Wommack's home Bible studies in Lamar, Colorado, Lawson Perdue was filled with the Holy Spirit and called to preach. Lawson moved to South Bend, Indiana in 1987 to attend Lester Sumrall's World Harvest Bible College. He received an Associate of Arts degree in 1988 and then moved to Kit Carson, Colorado to found Church of the Redeemed. In 1992 Lawson received his Bachelor's degree in Christian Ministry from World Harvest Bible College. In 2001 he founded Charis Christian Center of Colorado Springs, where he currently pastors. His ministry emphasizes abundant life through Jesus Christ.
 
Linda Parr Linda Parr
Linda gave her life to Jesus Christ in 1972. She has been active in ministry for over 30 years. She served as a pastor’s wife for over 21 years. She and her husband, Wendell, started the first Charis Bible school in England in 1997. She taught in the school there for two years. Her vision is to share the unconditional love of Christ and to exhort and encourage the body of Christ to be all that God wants them to be. Linda has always had a heart for missions, to reach the unreached and tell the untold. Her heart’s desire is to equip others to do the same. She and her husband, Wendell, have two children, Wendy and Dean, and one grandchild, Ashtin.
